This little mobile is SUPER easy, and comes together in only a few minutes. Its perfect for hanging on a wall or a door, and your can make it with material you can probably find in your own back yard!

Supplies you will need:
- Stick or small log
- String of your choice
- Sprigs from a fir or pine tree, or even little pinecones
- Scissor or clippers
- Hot glue gun and glue
Instructions:
I started by laying out all my strings and cutting them to the the lengths I wanted. I decided to go with a random pattern, so I made every string a different length. I also chose different colors that I thought were festive, but you can use any string or twine that you like.
I made sure to leave enough length on my strings to tie them around the stick. I made sure it was a tight knot. My stick was pretty rough so the string was not sipping, but if you are using a smooth stick you may want to secure each string with a dot of hot glue on the back.
Next, I tied a little knot in the end of each string. This is just to give the hot glue a little more surface to cling onto. I trimmed the end of each knot so that there was no extra.
I used my clippers to trim sprigs from my fir tree in the shapes of miniature trees, so cute. Each tree just needs a little bead of glue on the very top.
I had to work quickly because the glue cools pretty fast when its such a small bead. I just held the knot of string firmly to the glue for about 30 seconds, and thats it!
I also tied a longer string to each end of my log so that I could hang it on my door. If you were setting this log on a window sill, you would not need a top string, so its just up to you how you want to display your mobile.
And isn’t it just adorable! This craft is very easy, and very adorable, and can be made with real sprigs or even faux foliage so that it can be used year after year.
